An article studying the effect of temperature on the pH of skim milk reported the
following data. x= temperature and Y=milk pH and n=16
(1) Given that
Σ X 678, Σ Y 104.5, Σ X平方 36056, Σ Y平方 682.905, Σ XY 4376.20
Please compute the correlation coefficient.(4%)
(2) The following computer output is obtained on the data.

Do the data suggest that there is a negative linear relationship between temperature
and milk pH? Carry out a test of hypothesis at the 0.01 level. (5%)

(3) Use the fitted model to given an estimate of the mean milk pH when the
temperature is 50。C and a standard error of the estimate. (5%)
