Be dressed up和Be dressed有什麼不同

我搞不清楚以下這兩個選項到底哪裡不同，請幫幫我！

Linda was very simply ___. For this reason, she couldn't find admission inside.
(A) dressed (B) dressed up

dressed up是不是有種盛裝打扮的意味？所以我個人覺得是A才對。但我不確定。
