龍應台讚他是國民藝術家

曾獲第一屆國家文藝獎等殊榮的屏風表演班藝術總監李國修，於昨（二）日凌晨辭世，文化部長龍應台聞訊哀悼地說：「就像一位小學同學走了」。她讚揚李國修是一位優秀的「國民藝術家」，每天守著一方菜圃，努力灌溉台灣的表演藝術，文化部將提請總統頒褒揚令，肯定其對台灣表演藝術的卓越貢獻。

李國修是華人世界公認的全方位創作人，集編劇、導演、演員於一身，並堅持原創，只搬演台灣土地上的生命故事。他畢生原創編導卅齣叫好又叫座的舞台劇，作品「西出陽關」、「三人行不行」、「女兒紅」、「京劇啟示錄」等膾炙人口，一手創立屏風表演班並獲得文化部卓越級扶植團隊肯定，他更以「定目劇」概念經營劇場的表演藝術，擴大台灣劇場藝術的欣賞人口，讓好的戲劇歷久不衰。
