尚韋帆、王男桂、朱億宗與蕭元昶等SBL好手組成的「高雄隊」，昨在三對三男籃世界巡迴賽東京站，接連擊敗日本橫濱隊與紐西蘭奧克蘭隊，預賽最終戰雖不敵黎巴嫩貝魯特隊，高雄隊仍取8強門票。

高雄隊先以10比9氣走奧克蘭隊，接著以17比15險勝橫濱隊，但碰上高大的貝魯特隊以16比20敗北，今天8強遭遇地主東京隊，連過兩關即打進冠軍賽，可晉級10月4日土耳其伊斯坦堡總決賽。
