南投至花蓮的最佳路線

各位旅遊高手
請問一下
如果我是從南投開車前往花蓮 預計下星期出發
因為是要載爸媽出門走走
那是從北部宜蘭或南部屏東前往 哪個比較佳呢
朋友說中橫是最快的 但現在是否有限行嗎 目前都是下雨那好走嗎

一天假期的話 來回可行嗎
那兩天則是建議 可以怎樣逛一逛呢
住的話 可以到當地後再馬上訂嗎?
