【姚瑞宸／高雄報導】陳連宏代掌統一獅兵符的第1場比賽，王鏡銘先發5局只失1分非自責分，群獅敲出近7場比賽以來最多的單場12支安打，投打協力以8比3擊敗義大犀牛隊，終止自7月23日起的6連敗。
王鏡銘先發5局只被擊出3支安打失1分，取得2011年4月22日以來的第1勝先發勝，也贏得這場比賽的單場MVP。
