動物園百萬買羊駝　沒錢請獸醫

【盧麗蓮／綜合報導】新竹市議員林智堅昨天質疑新竹市立動物園獸醫數不足，全園1人照顧304隻動物，但市府竟花百萬元買羊駝及羊駝籠舍展場改善。

今日出版的《聯合報》報導，林智堅並質疑，動物園內平均每隻動物醫療經費為43.33元，但8合1、6合1疫苗一劑就要800元，在醫療資源嚴重不足下，寧花大錢買動物，不去改善現有狀況。新竹市府回應，購買羊駝是動物園與遊客的建議。
