【羅惠齡／台中報導】統一獅前天延長10局1分飲恨敗給三星，明晚在台中洲際球場對日職冠軍樂天金鷹之戰相當關鍵，贏球才能打進冠軍戰，總教練陳連宏說：「一定要全力搶勝。」明獅隊排出洋投費古洛扛先發重任，他說：「要盡量撐久一點，讓球隊有機會贏球。」

今獅隊休兵，仍到台中球場做賽前最後練球，教練團尚未針對今天關鍵戰役確定先發陣容，主要在於捕手高志綱能否出賽，他在昨天被觸身球打到左手，今手部還包紮起來，先發陣容將根據高志綱能否上場做變動，原則上，鑼總的想法將是全力攻擊，把最好的打者都排上場，投手部份，費古洛能投幾局就投幾局，只要有狀況就馬上換投。
