台鐵出撞況影響3750人

一列台鐵區間車今天行經高市一處平交道附近撞死一名男子，現場一度維持單線通車，造成八次列車誤點，影響三千七百五十名旅客。

台鐵高雄站長陳文川說，事故現場單線通車處理善後期間，造成路過的八列次縱貫線南下及北上各級列車「塞車」而誤點，列車誤點時間總計二百一十七分鐘，影響三千七百五十名旅客行程。

由屏東開往嘉義的三一七八列次區間車，行經高雄市橋頭區球場路平交道北方八十公尺處，剎車不及當場撞斃一名男子，台鐵隨後調派另一列莒光號列車接駁原車旅客至目的地；現場維持單線通車，直到事故現場排除，前後約五十分鐘才恢復通車。
