南投荷花季暨噴水池啟用開幕

南投市102年荷花季暨省府路噴水池啟用典禮，今天在中興新村椰林大道舉行，嶄新的噴水池和29池荷花在暑假開始前，正式和全國民眾見面，現場還有「彩繪荷花仙子」走秀，以及全國詩人聯吟大會，讓中興新村荷花美景充滿詩意。

南投市102年荷花季暨中興新村荷花池畔噴水池啟用儀式由中科管理局郭坤明副局長跟南投市長許淑華共同主持，多名地方民代、里長也出席，在南投荷花季開始後，全國詩人文化會也舉辦詩人節全國詩人表揚暨聯吟大會，四百多名來自全台各地的詩人，進行個人及團體吟詩大賽；在荷花池畔，還有彩繪荷花仙子走秀。

南投市長許華表示，中興新村荷花池經由中科管理局花費3千多萬元整頓後，荷花池煥然一新，毀損多年的中興新村入口意象噴泉也整建為新款、有夜間照明的華麗噴水池，民眾欣賞荷花的環境更佳優質。

她也預告9月28號全國萬人健行活動將是南投市下一個全國性的大型活動，歡迎全國民眾到南投欣賞中興八景四勝，也到南投健身。
