心有靈犀一點通的美國布萊恩雙胞胎兄弟，美網男雙準決賽先盛後衰，「單季全滿貫」也提前夢碎！

這對35歲的世界頭號組合，聯手贏得15座大滿貫男雙冠軍，本季已橫掃澳網、法網、溫布頓冠軍，自家紐約出擊志在衛冕，卻以6：3、3：6、4：6慘遭去年爭冠的手下敗將印度老將佩斯／捷克史戴潘尼克大逆襲，不但無緣決賽，也未能成為網壇公開賽時代首對單季包攬4大賽金盃的傳奇組合。
