橫山瑞樹先發表現精采　豐田抱走冠軍

【王翊亘／台北報導】台北國際城市青少棒錦標賽，冠軍戰由日本豐田出戰高雄忠孝，豐田靠著先發投手橫山瑞樹先發5局僅失1分的好投，率隊以8比5擊敗忠孝，橫山瑞樹也奪下大會的最有價值球員獎。
 
豐田總教練小林晉也說：「橫山瑞樹是這場比賽能贏球的關鍵，忠孝的長打實力很好，但橫山前5局完全壓制他們，才給予球隊能贏球的契機。」豐田有別於其他日本球隊，時常使用投手車輪戰，4強賽先動用3名投手，完封了台南崇明，冠軍賽又靠著橫山瑞樹與後援投手大野將輝的力投，抱回冠軍金盃。
 
豐田先在1局下，靠著3次保送與1支安打加高飛犧牲打，攻下2分；3局下，1出局一壘有人，6棒堀內卓哉、7棒長崎恭吾、9棒內藤諒一接連敲出二壘安打，再攻下3分，拉開領先差距奠定勝基。
 
忠孝總教練倪國展說：「雖然輸掉冠軍戰，但本來就以4強為目標，已達到原先預期；日本的打者棒子很黏，又很敢拉長打，守備更是穩定，輸球沒話說。」
