救鸚鵡溺斃　主人與2鳥陳屍淡水河

在淡水河搜了8小時，終於打撈到浮屍急著拉上岸，消防隊員抬擔架大夥合力幫忙，但好端端的，43歲黃姓男子怎麼會跳下水最後慘遭溺斃。目擊者：「一隻鳥要飛那邊，另一隻要飛那邊，2隻鳥落海，他就追到那邊，要撿他的鸚鵡起來。」

原來黃姓男子帶著養了5年的鸚鵡，到淡水老街散步，鳥兒站在他肩膀上，雙腳被繩子繫住，但他走著走著，2隻鸚鵡突然飛入淡水河內，眼見心愛的鳥兒入水，他往前追了100公尺後，就從碼頭旁的樓梯走下去，跳進水中救鳥，由於當時正逢退潮，暗流力量大，儘管黃姓男子善於游泳，還是由不回岸邊，溺斃身亡。

飼主鄰居：「人家送的啦，他很喜歡那2隻鳥，他每天都要放在肩膀上，很自然的，不曉得什麼原因，2隻鳥飛走以後，把衣服脫起來，穿著內褲就下去。」

附近店家報案後，警消從早上7點開始出動，一直到下午2點多，先在離岸邊40公尺處發現鳥兒後，又恰巧在附近找到主人，但一人兩鳥三條命，都已經溺斃，為了救鳥犧牲自己，親友得知噩耗，大嘆實在不值得。
