澳盛銀：中國應降息減低資本流入壓力

澳盛銀行發布最新大中華區經濟觀察報告指出，中國人民銀行過去幾個月中，持續將人民幣兌美元的中間價定在強側，這與疲弱的經濟表現形成鮮明的反差。

報告就人民幣匯率體系進行研究指出，人民幣中間價的強勢表現，似乎與資本流入趨勢表現一致；第二，人民幣匯率的波動性主要由中間價決定；第三，較強的中間價可能改變市場預期。

報告分析，如果人民幣中間價表現一直較強，將吸引更多資本流入，導致匯率的升值持續。但這可能誤導政策決策者放寬匯率波動區間，使人民幣升值幅度增強。從此角度來說，中國應該選擇降息，來降低資本流入的壓力。
