權相佑在韓劇《慾望女王》中，和秀愛一場深情接吻的橋段，讓他的藝人老婆孫泰英大吃飛醋，公開在節目上說：「本來想他一定可以掌握分寸，結果我看了播出之後，嚇了一跳，老實說，心情真的很不好！身為女人一定是這樣的心情。｣

權相佑在劇中是為了讓愛人完成夢想，而下海當牛郎幫她賺學費，又獨自扶養女兒的人，卻慘遭無情背叛。戲裡他除了大秀肌肉之外，還有許多親密戲，也難怪老婆孫泰英會吃醋了。孫泰英委屈的說：「別人的老公都是轉頭借位，或是嘴巴輕輕碰一下就好了，但我老公的並非如此。｣

吃醋歸吃醋，孫泰英還是相當挺老公，還在劇中客串到酒店尋歡的貴婦，還搞笑對著「牛郎」權相佑大罵：「你長得好像我老公，倒胃口！」而女主角秀愛這次戲裡雖然是大惡女，戲外卻是個天使，總是非常體恤工作人員的辛勞。
