遊戲失色 Zynga裁員縮編

（中央社台北4日電）社群遊戲龍頭Zynga Inc.表示，該公司將裁員520人，占總員工數18%，並關閉部分辦公室。

根據Zynga Inc發布的新聞稿，裁員每年將為公司省下約7000-8000萬美元的稅前費用。裁員預計在8月前完成，並將分別在第2季和第3季帶來2400萬-2600萬美元和200萬-500萬美元的重整費用。

在遊戲人口從臉書（Facebook Inc.）社群遊戲轉戰手機遊戲應用軟體下，Zynga執行長平克斯（MarkPincus）削減支出費用因應。

韋德布希證券公司（Wedbush Securities Inc.）分析師派克特（Michael Pachter）表示，削減費用雖可能有助提高獲利，但此舉為平克斯尋找新成長來源造成壓力。

派克特接受訪問時表示，「你不能靠撙節費用奔向昌盛。」「他們必須持續創新」。

Zynga收盤重摔12%，報2.99美元，近4個月來首次跌破3美元。該股年來計漲27%，相較於同一時期標準普爾500指數漲幅15%。

根據彭博引述匿名消息人士透露，除了裁員，Zynga也關閉紐約、洛杉磯、達拉斯等地的辦公室。（譯者：中央社劉淑琴）1020604
