（中央社華盛頓30日綜合外電報導）今天公布的研究顯示，美國兒童肥胖的情況，大多從幼稚園就開始。

法新社報導，研究指出，14歲的肥胖學童當中，近半數在5歲時，就出現體重問題。

研究顯示，超過14%的兒童進入幼稚園時體重已超重，這些兒童到了8年級時，比起入學時體重正常的同儕，變胖的機率可能高出3倍。

研究所使用的是1998年到1999年參與研究的幼稚園兒童資料。
