臭腳對瘧蚊有致命吸引力

英國研究人員發現了捕捉傳染瘧疾的蚊子的利器：臭襪子。

倫敦衛生及熱帶醫學研究所研究員駱根博士說，研究發現，臭襪子的氣味會吸引帶有瘧疾的蚊子，但是不會吸引一般的蚊子。

他們將研究製作出可以用臭襪子味吸引、撲殺瘧蚊的補蚊器。駱根說，臭腳丫對人類終於有了貢獻了。

全世界每年有八十萬人死於瘧疾，其中多數是非洲的孩子。
