巴西取消非洲多國近9億美元債務

巴西宣布，將取消或重整與非洲12國大約9億美元的債務。其中包括盛產石油天然氣的「剛果共和國」、「坦尚尼亞」及「尚比亞」等國。

這項措施主要是為了加強巴西與非洲的經濟關係；根據巴西官方統計，過去十年，巴西與非洲大陸的貿易額增長了五倍。

巴西總統「羅賽芙」目前正在非洲訪問，預備參加在「衣索匹亞」舉行的「非洲聯盟」高峰會。這是「羅賽芙」在過去三個月內，第三度訪問非洲。她表示，與非洲維持特別關係是巴西的外交政策重要策略。非洲擁有豐富的天然資源，因此近年來，巴西積極擴展與非洲的經貿往來。

這次巴西取消的債務大多是從1970年累積下來。另外，巴西也將與部分國家重新談判債務問題，其中包括提供更優惠的利息，以及更長的償還期。
