小行星再逼近 地球人怕撞擊

（路透卡納維爾角8日電）體積如同小型卡車的小行星2013 LR6今天快速掠過地球4次，比月球的距離更近，是最近1枚親近地球的天體，令人為可能撞擊地球的危險性感到擔心。

美國國家航空暨太空總署（NASA）表示，科學家是在2013 LR6來到最接近地球位置的前1天，發現這枚小行星。兩星交會發生在美國東部時間凌晨12時42分（台北時間今天中午12時42分），位置在澳洲塔斯馬尼亞（Tasmania）以南的南冰洋上空10萬5000公里處。 直徑10公尺的這枚小行星，並未對地球構成威脅。 在1週之前，體積較大、達到2.7公里直徑的小行星QE2挾帶著衛星，以580萬公里的距離掠過地球。 至於在今年2月15日，則有1枚體積較小的小行星在俄羅斯車里雅賓斯克（Chelyabinsk）上空的大氣層中爆炸，造成地面上的玻璃和瓦礫碎裂飛射，使得1500多人受傷。

同1天有另1枚無關的小行星在2萬7700公里的距離外掠過地球，比軌道中的通訊衛星網更接近地球。中央社(翻譯)
