LLB次青少棒錦標賽，中華隊跟捷克隊之戰，中華隊投手有效封鎖對方打擊，終場以六比一贏得勝利。（李明朝報導）

正在美國進行的2013年世界少棒聯盟次青少棒錦標賽，中華隊首戰捷克，先前受到大雨影響一度比賽延後。

這場由捷克隊先攻，二局下中華隊展開反攻，第五棒彭立中擊出中外野二壘安打，對方投手暴投輕鬆站上三壘，第六棒吳峻安雖然打出一支內野遭到封殺，但是幫助三壘跑者回本壘得到一分，接著第七棒李靜吉被保送上壘，盜壘成功，站上得點圈，第八棒袁芳毅適時擊出一支安打，中華隊再添下一城，以二比０領先捷克隊。

三局上捷克隊三支安打也得到一分，讓比分相差一分，四局下中華隊又添得二分，將比數拉到四比一，五局下捷克投手出現不穩，除被安打，又投出暴投，中華隊又再下二城，五局結束已經比數來到六比一。

七局上捷克隊三名打者都擊出內野被封殺出局，中華隊就以六比一贏捷克隊，旗開得勝。

中華隊採取投手車輪戰方式來保持體力，下一場中華隊將對上波多黎各隊。
