天兔未近陸地 減傷害

（中央社記者林紳旭台北21日電）中央大學大氣科學系兼任副教授吳德榮說，強烈颱風天兔的中心未接近陸地，對台灣是好事，傷害減少很多。

吳德榮說，這次天兔颱風行進的路徑，較原本預估的路徑偏南，「這是好事，不能說氣象局不準」，原本氣象局就有預估如此的路徑，也在誤差範圍內。

他表示，現在的狀況是比較好的演變，因為接近颱風中心的破壞性強風，不會接觸到陸地。天兔颱風算強的，行進到台灣的南方，還能保有強烈颱風的規模，但未來將減弱為中度颱風。

吳德榮指出，今天中午時花東將會有強降雨，西南部有中央山脈擋風，處於背風面，雨勢會較小，但屏東縣沒有高山擋，厚實的雲系還是會進入。1020921
