美國指數期貨削減漲幅，一度跌破至平盤之下。美國公布12月就業報告顯示，新增就業僅7.4萬人，大幅低於預估，投資人大感失望。

該報告公布後，指數期貨應聲下跌，但隨後部份反彈，漲跌互見。

台北時間22:03

道瓊指數期貨下跌0.08%，S&P 500期貨上漲0.24%，Nasdaq期貨上漲0.20%。

美國12月新增就業僅7.4萬人，創2011年初以來最低水準，顯示進入2014年，美國動能並不如其他系列經濟指標所顯示般強勁。

12月失業率下降至6.7%，創2008年10月以來低點，11月為7.0%，但失業率下降，主要係因更多人退出了勞工力。
