蘋果發表新一代Macbook Air與Mac Pro

蘋果10日在2013年全球開發者大會(WWDC)上發布新一代Mac系列電腦，其中包含新版的Macbook Air，以及外觀重新設計過、效能升級的高階桌上型電腦Mac Pro

MacBook Air搭載英特爾最新Haswell架構第四代Core i5或i7處理器，11.6吋版電池續航力可達9小時，而13.3吋版更可延長至12小時。11.6吋的MacBook Air售價由999美元起跳，而13.3吋的起價為1099美元。MacBook Air自即日起已開始對美國、香港等地出貨。

Mac Pro搭載英特爾Xeon 處理器，最高可達12核心，效能是前版的兩倍快，除此之外，Mac Pro還內建AMD雙獨立顯示卡、1866MHz DDR3記憶體，以及PCI介面快閃記憶體儲存元件。由於Mac Pro功能強大、且外觀設計獨特，蘋果行銷長Phil Schiller宣稱，Mac Pro是依據下個十年作設計，為未來桌上型電腦的典範，他並於會場上當面駁斥桌上型電腦無法再進化的批評。
