店頭市場指數今日創下今年以來高點，收在120.71點，也是自2004年1月5日以來新高，店頭市場指數今年以來表現出色，不但優於大盤且漲幅逾16％，相關基金也連帶受惠。觀察189檔台股基金，其中店頭持股比重超過25％以上的台股基金有23檔，其中今年以來績效前十名的有六檔報酬逾二成，以群益店頭市場基金24.91％奪冠。

根據CMONEY統計資料顯示，至5/21為止外資連10買共買超逾43億元，也推升店頭市場指數上漲4.34%，同期大盤僅上漲2.69%。近一步觀察外資近年買超店頭市場金額變化，今年以來外資買超逾163億元，以每年同時期來看，今年是繼2005年以來買超最多的時期，顯示出外資也看好店頭市場。
