夏天到了，青年公園6月1日至30日，舉辦「仲夏南洋夢-朱槿展」。配合色彩繽紛多變朱槿，現場布置高大巨竹、天堂鳥等植栽，營造熱情的盛夏風情。

朱槿別名「扶桑花」，是典型的熱帶花卉，盛花期為5至10月，大大的花朵配著飽和瑰麗的花色，如夏季耀眼的寶石。

北市府公園處表示，這次展出的品種，約有20餘種，展覽會場以帶有熱帶風情的盆器、蠟染布料等媒材，營造熱情南洋風。

公園處指出，朱槿不僅具有觀賞價值，樹皮還可織布做衣服。展覽免費入場，地點在青年公園園藝展覽館，開放時間從上午8點半至下午4點半，相關資訊可電洽2303-2451。
