沈啟抵加 談ICAO大會期待

中華民國交通部民航局長沈啟率代表團於加拿大東部時間23日早晨7時17分抵達蒙特婁杜魯道國際機場，對中華民國過去42年來首次能夠參加國際民航組織（ICAO）活動期待很高。

沈啟在機場表示，她非常高興這次能率團前來蒙特婁，參加3年1次的ICAO大會。她說，ICAO今年能夠邀請中華民國政府代表參加，是外交部、交通部兩部歷任長官及友邦的協助。

沈啟也表示，這次參加ICAO大會只是1個開始，後續工作，將以中華民國民航局的經驗，讓ICAO知道，少了中華民國不可以、不可能，也是不行的。

雖然中華民國這次是以「特邀貴賓」身分參加，並無發言權，但沈啟表示，中華民國代表團若有特殊意見，仍可在大會休息時間，與友邦討論。

沈啟也希望這次參加大會能夠直接獲得ICAO飛航安全資訊。今後也希望能夠從ICAO之下的專業性和區域性會議直接獲得其他方面的資訊。
