微軟23日發表兩款Surface平板電腦後繼機種，分別為Surface 2與Surface Pro 2，不僅機身更輕薄，運算速度、螢幕解析度，乃至電池續航力也都有所提升。

Surface 2分32GB與64GB兩種機型，採用安謀(ARM)架構處理器，並搭載Windows RT 8.1作業系統，起價每台為449美元。

功能較強的Surface Pro 2採用英特爾Haswell架構Core i5處理器，運算速度較前版快20%，輸出繪圖效能增加50%，電池續航力提高75%，若搭配具蓄電能力的鍵盤保護蓋，則使用時間可延長兩倍。

依照記憶體與內存容量之不同，Surface Pro 2共有4種版本，分別為4GB記憶體搭配內存64GB或128GB，與8GB記憶體設定256GB或512GB內存。Surface Pro 2最低起價每台為899美元。

新Surface平板電腦23日開放預購，並預定在10月22日上架開賣，首波上市國家包含美國、加拿大等22國，中國大陸則預定在11月初開賣。截至台北時間24日0時58分，微軟股價盤中小漲0.01%，暫報32.79美元。
